The Carmarthenshire Antiquarian Society launched this project to inform people of this significant heritage, comprising:
- A tour of sites sharing the Griffith Jones' legacies;
- A booklet entitled 'Griffith Jones', telling this heritage;
- Local trails focussing on local aspects;
- This set of pop-up display panels for loan;
- A programme of talks and events.
The tour: This tour of eight locations in south-west Carmarthenshire celebrates a significant part of Welsh heritage. The tour uses HistoryPoints QR plaques at each location. The QRs at each location expand on these remarkable achievements and on those he inspired. At several of the locations there is also a display to view.
The book: Fully colour illustrated, this bilingual book makes available the full story of the amazing achievements of Griffith Jones and those he inspired in his lifetime. To purchase a copy, go to the Publications page.
Pop-up exhibition panels: A set of ten pop-up display panels is available free of charge to organisations.
